We will be launching a brand new project with Notre-Dame Hospital to expand and renovate the pediatric clinic so that it is better suited to the needs of children and families and can accommodate more young patients, thereby helping to relieve congestion in Montreal’s large pediatric hospitals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the 14 long-term care facilities we support, recreation is more than just a pastime. It is an integral part of the care approach, providing opportunities for physical, mental, cognitive, and social stimulation, while helping to maintain the quality of life of each resident.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Two psychosocial intervention programs use sports to better reach vulnerable youth: Bien dans mes baskets<\/em> and L’Adresse<\/em>. Both are offered in schools and contribute directly to the development of healthy lifestyles, as well as to the psychological health, academic success, and overall development of our youth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

According to public health data, our region has the highest proportion of vulnerable people in Quebec. That is why we are proud to support two key programs, H\u00f4pital Solidaire and the Population Assistance Fund.<\/p>

H\u00f4pital Solidaire allows CIUSSS healthcare teams to literally prescribe free meals in the cafeteria as part of a vulnerable person’s care plan, while the Population Assistance Fund provides one-time emergency assistance to facilitate the purchase of home care equipment, medication, or access to care.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The oncology transportation program offers much more than a simple ride: it provides meaningful support to people living with cancer who need to travel to their treatments. Through this free, safe, door-to-door service, we help reduce fatigue and the risks associated with travel. Beyond easing stress, the program also lowers costs for patients and relieves the daily burden on their loved ones. The consistent presence of a caring driver fosters a reassuring relationship of trust during a time of great vulnerability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
