href=\"https:\/\/fondationsanteurbaine.com\/en\/an-innovative-pilot-project-adapted-e-bikes-make-their-debut-at-manoir-de-verdun\/\">adapted electric bikes at the Manoir-de-Verdun, one the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l\u2019\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al\u2019s residential and long-term care centres (CHSLD)<\/a>.<\/p><p>On May 23, 2024, Fondation Sant\u00e9 Urbaine received a $17,500 donation from the Cogir Foundation for this wonderful project.<\/p><p>Through the Cogir Foundation\u2019s invaluable contribution, we can buy a third adapted e-bike for CHSLD residents.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5916717 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" These bike rides are greatly appreciated. They bring so much joy and happiness! We have a resident in the centre who was a former cyclist and going out for a ride reminds her of her youth,\u201d reveals Andr\u00e9 Gervais, recreation technician at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l\u2019\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al.<\/p><p>\u201cNow that the sun is shining and the beautiful weather is back, we plan on making the most of it! Several other CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l\u2019\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al residential centres were invited to the Manoir-de-Verdun for a picnic and to use the bikes.
