greeting users and visitors at Verdun Hospital.<\/p><p>Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., she\u2019s there\u2014reliably and warmly present.<\/p><p>In nearly four years, she has volunteered close to 1,700 hours\u2014an incredible commitment that makes a real difference in the experience of users and residents.<\/p><p>Dependable, punctual, and always ready to help, Danielle is much more than a familiar face at the entrance\u2014she\u2019s a true pillar of the hospital.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eab0712 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con ease, reassures them, and transforms their hospital visit into something more human and comforting.<\/p><h3>A smile that changes everything<\/h3><p>\u201cNo matter how old we are, coming to the hospital can be a little intimidating. Even scary. That\u2019s why I chose to volunteer at Verdun Hospital\u2019s reception.<\/p><p>On paper, my job is to accompany people and take them to their appointments. But my real role is to ease their worry from the very first moment\u2014by welcoming them with a smile and kindness.\u201d<\/p><p>Thanks to the support of Fondation Sant\u00e9 Urbaine, the hospital is able to offer services that go beyond medical care: a mobile library that visits patient floors, coffee service for those waiting in the ER and outpatient clinics, and even wheelchair support for people who need it.<\/p><h3>An inspiring commitment<\/h3><p>Reception volunteers don\u2019t just point the way\u2014they guide, listen, and comfort. In just a few moments, they build trust, ease fears, and turn a stressful visit into a more human encounter.<\/p><p>With her kindness and dedication, Danielle embodies this mission beautifully.
