href=\"https:\/\/www.enfantsoleil.ca\/en\/who-we-are\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enfant Soleil<\/a>, three improvement projects were carried out at the Plateau Mont-Royal and Verdun CLSCs to enhance the quality of youth mental health services.<\/p><p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Three projects, two CLSCs, one shared goal<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"732\">Youth mental health teams in CLSCs bring together professionals from a range of disciplines, including social work, psychoeducation, psychology, art therapy, and occupational therapy. They often share spaces that are not well suited to the diversity of their practices or to the needs of the individuals they support.<\/p><p data-start=\"734\" data-end=\"979\">In both CLSCs, multipurpose rooms were upgraded and equipped with new materials, making it possible to adapt the environment to each person\u2019s needs\u2014toddlers, children, and teens\u2014as well as to the requirements of different professional practices.<\/p><p data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1273\">At the Verdun CLSC, an additional occupational therapy room was created and equipped with specialized tools. It allows the occupational therapist to offer a full range of interventions to youth from birth to age 18 who have needs related to sensory regulation, motor skills, or mental health.<\/p><p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Changes that make a difference every day<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1645\">For care teams, having flexible, well-equipped spaces reduces time spent on logistics and allows them to focus fully on care.
