2024 Impact Report

Word from the Directors

The year 2024 marked an important turning point for Fondation Santé Urbaine.

Through the commitment of our teams, partners, and philanthropists, we not only pursued our mission but also embarked on a new chapter.

Expanding our team with key roles enabled us to enhance our services, and the arrival of a new executive director brought renewed energy and ambition to our team, further reinforcing our caring approach. Under her leadership, we strengthened our ties to the community and redoubled our efforts to support projects with a direct and tangible human impact.

The foundation also got involved in two major CIUSSS projects: the expansion of the pediatric clinic at Notre-Dame Hospital and the expansion and modernization of Verdun Hospital. In addition to the 60-plus programs and initiatives we already fund, our concrete investment in these two hospitals will help improve the care provided, making it more accessible and better adapted to every stage of a person’s life.

And through it all, our two flagship programs—the Fonds d’aide à la population and the oncology transportation service—have grown exponentially, reflecting the pressing needs for these types of programs as well as our ability to address these needs efficiently and with compassion.

Today, we are looking to the future, and we are more convinced than ever that every donation, every gesture, every project funded is a message of hope. And that together, we can build a more people-centred, inclusive health-care system every day—one better aligned with the people who need it most.

Thank you for being a part of our big community.
