David Blondot Appointed Chair of the Board

David Blondot

The Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of David Blondot as Chair of its Board of Directors.

As CEO of Weeve, an innovative electric mobility company, David brings to the Foundation solid experience in management, innovation, and entrepreneurship gained from organizations of all sizes, including Workday and SAP. This expertise is invaluable at this pivotal moment in our development.

A vision rooted in humanity

What initially motivated David’s involvement with the Foundation was the profoundly human aspect of our mission. The close relationship with the teams and patients, and the tangible impact of the Foundation’s actions on people’s daily lives resonated with his personal and professional values.

What is done here really changes people’s lives, day after day. That’s what gives meaning to the commitment,” he emphasizes.

Supporting the Foundation as it embarks on its next chapter

With 24 healthcare institutions supported by the Foundation and ever-growing needs, there are many challenges ahead. Under David’s leadership, the Board of Directors will be able to rely on strong, forward-looking governance that combines innovation, rigor, and social impact.

His leadership will help equip the Foundation to continue its growth, support promising projects, and respond sustainably to the needs of healthcare communities in the Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal. He is particularly knowledgeable about corporate giving and philanthropic sponsorship, having sponsored the Foundation with Weeve, SAP, and Workday.

Continuity and new momentum

The Foundation would like to warmly thank the members of the Board of Directors for their ongoing commitment, as well as our outgoing president, Alain Primeau, for his remarkable work. David’s arrival is part of this continuity, while also bringing new momentum for the years to come.

We welcome him and look forward to counting on his commitment to health, innovation, and, above all, the users of our hospitals, CLSCs, and CHSLDs.
