Mission and Context
At Fondation Santé Urbaine, we work to improve care from birth to end of life at Verdun Hospital, Notre-Dame Hospital, as well as in eight CLSCs and fourteen CHSLDs in Montreal’s Centre-Sud area.
We are a small but growing team, and today we are looking for a versatile, rigorous, resourceful, and creative person to join us as Communications and Events Officer.

Nature of the Contribution
Main Responsibilities | Communications (40%)
- Manage the website and digital content.
- Oversee the weekly management of the editorial calendar.
- Improve our presence on social media and maximize audience engagement.
- Contribute to internal and external communications as needed.
- Coordinate Mailchimp mailings (list management, email creation, performance tracking).
- Collaborate on communications and the Foundation’s visibility within the CIUSSS.
- Participate in developing new fundraising strategies and initiatives, and contribute to annual campaigns as well as relationship marketing.
- Support advertising efforts, especially digital.
- Create reports and performance dashboards and contribute to business analysis.
Main Responsibilities | Events (40%)
- Contribute to the organization of the Foundation’s events (fundraising, recognition, launches, etc.).
- Take part in brainstorming sessions, supplier research, and the creation of communication and solicitation tools.
- Ensure sponsorship activation follow-ups.
- Produce reports and performance dashboards.
Main Responsibilities | Digital Support (20%)
- Master the database and prepare mailing lists for communications.
- Create donation forms.
- Manage the Foundation’s M365 account (security, quarantined messages, license management).
- Recommend continuous improvements to optimize our tools.

You have strong organizational skills. You are curious, rigorous, resourceful, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a changing environment. You are not afraid of “any other related duties” and enjoy juggling diverse priorities. You value teamwork, collaboration, and know how to foster authentic and positive human relationships.
You are known for your agility and resourcefulness: you can switch from digital analysis to coordinating an event, then to providing technical support to a colleague, all with the same enthusiasm.

Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, in a company or philanthropic setting.
- Mastery of digital tools: WordPress (Elementor), Mailchimp, M365, Google Analytics.
- Good knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English.
What We Offer
- Full-time position (35 h / week).
- Start date: November 24, 2025.
- Workplace: 1560 Sherbrooke East, Montreal. Hybrid mode with required in-office presence as needed (minimum 1 day/week, on Tuesdays).
- Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 / year.
- Benefits: personal days, 3 weeks of vacation (6%), group insurance.
