We do not knowingly collect information from children or others under the age of 14. If we learn that we have collected personal information from minors without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our servers.

  • When you sign up to volunteer with our organization;

Fondation Santé Urbaine does not share personal information except with certain third parties in its network when necessary and after signing a confidentiality agreement with, notably:

  • Third-part service providers or partners, specifically those who provide donation solicitation, data and website analysis, application development, hosting, maintenance, and other services. We ensure the protection of your information when transmitted to third parties by having them sign a confidentiality agreement;
  • Government authorities and law enforcement agencies where required by applicable law;
  • Fondation Santé Urbaine employees and volunteers for recruitment purposes of human resources, volunteers, and for financial contribution and other solicitation purposes.

Fondation Santé Urbaine can also use the services of third-party sites such as Google, Facebook and LinkedIn, to promote its content and offers.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We will retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and in our document retention and destruction policy in accordance with our legal obligations.

We anonymize obsolete personal information, if, for example you indicate that you wish to permanently cease contributing to Fondation Santé Urbaine and forgo any form of recognition.

WHERE DO WE STORE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Personal information is stored and processed in Quebec, Canada. Access to personal information, whether electronic or in rare cases paper-based, is protected, and our security measures are regularly reviewed.

In some cases, personal information may be hosted outside Quebec, in any country, state or province where we have facilities or use third-party service providers, namely Google, Paysafe, PayPal, Benevity, and CanadaHelps. However, our practices regarding your personal information remain governed by this policy and applicable Quebec laws at all times.
