Valuable support for the local vulnerable population

This program, also available at Notre-Dame Hospital, allows healthcare professionals from the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal to “prescribe” free meals to their vulnerable patients.

These meals, provided at the hospital cafeteria or delivered to patients’ homes, are directly integrated into the patients’ care plans, aiming to facilitate or accelerate their recovery.

This financial support from Desjardins will help expand the program’s reach, ensuring that more members of the Verdun community can benefit from this essential service.

We are thrilled to count on the support of a partner so deeply rooted in the community. The Hôpital Solidaire program has such a concrete and immediate impact on people’s lives, making it only natural to partner with Desjardins to offer this service to our users in Verdun.

Our caisse is proud to support the Hôpital Solidaire program through its Community Development Fund. Together, we can make a significant impact and contribute to a healthier future for our community.

This partnership reflects Desjardins’ commitment to the health and well-being of local communities, strengthening initiatives to support the most vulnerable populations.
