So many proud moments in the sunshine this October at the Beneva Montréal Marathon!

The 40 runners who chose to run for the Fondation Santé Urbaine pushed past their limits for the most vulnerable people in our community. From the 1 km to the full marathon, every stride counted.

Thanks to their commitment, $23,590 was raised for the Fonds d’aide à la population (Community Assistance Fund). This fund allows care teams in Centre-Sud to request emergency assistance of up to $1,000 for people facing essential health costs not covered by the public system. Requests are processed within 48 hours: when someone needs help, it arrives quickly.

A special shout-out to one of our runners, who placed 3rd among the top fundraisers of the entire Marathon!
